KARBOSORB® Activated Carbon (wood based)
is a porous solid media made from saw dust, with very high
surface area (700 - 1400 m2/gr).
The high surface area of KARBOSORB® is
formed through activation process without any chemical addition,
so that KARBOSORB® can be safely used in various purposes
of adsorption processes, without disturbance to other unit
operation.
KARBOSORB® has 3 kind of pores (macro,
meso and micro). The proportion of the pores will determine
the adsorption characteristic of the activated carbon.
