The establishment of Activated Carbon factory in 1995, was the starting point for further expansion of other business activities. Activated Carbon was chosen as AIMTOP main core product due to its huge demand from both domestic and international market. Also, the coconut shell as the raw material is provided in unlimited quantity in Indonesia. AIMTOP brings to market, a consistent and high quality Activated Carbon at a reasonable cost to all customers.

Our factory is located in Garut, West Java Province with an annual output of 2.000 tons Coconuts Based Activated Carbon. Products from this factory is sold not only to domestic market around Indonesia but also to fulfill demands from international market. At the moment, we have supplied various national as well as multinational industries in Indonesia. Our customer trust has turn AIMTOP to be one of Indonesia's leading activated carbon industry. Currently, we are ready to expand our production capacities for fullfil the foreign market with capacity of more than 10.000 tons Coconut based activated carbon.

AIMTOP is actively continued to develop activated carbon product demanded by customer. In 2002, R & D Department of AIMTOP has succesfully finished the development of Wood Based Activated Carbon, widely used in food industry. The first stage is begin by building a smal scale production system for Wood Based Activated Carbon with annual capacity 400 MT. In the future, it will be developed until the it reaches annual capacity of 2.000 MT, in different location.

AIMTOP also offers contribution in construction field, particularly in water and waste treatment by integrating technological innovation to produce reliable operation unit and yet agreeably economical. The capability of AIMTOP Engineering and R&D division in plant design, construction and technical consultation service has been proven from our previous project experiences.

By adopting modern and appropriate management and planning techniques, and maintaining highly skilled and dedicated work force, we are able to serve our customers better, provide cost-competitive products and services without the slightest compromise on quality.

To support the business activities, AIMTOP has workshop facility for construction activities, laboratory research and development, expertise in water and waste water treatment, laboratory for water and waste water treatment simulation, and chemical product facilities for water and waste treatment.

Since its establishment, AIMTOP has served a wide range of domestic and foreign customers including major oil companies, chemical companies, pharmaceutical companies, sugar plants, water treatment projects, municipalities, and various exporting companies and groups.
